We are all born with the same mindset. Its what we do after that or what happens to us that slowly but slowly changes this mindset. This is what leads us to become who and what we are right now.

you cant think of man as any different then any animal, we all came from the same single celled 1st living things. it is instinct to do what you need to do to survive.. humans along with all animals are selfish and truly only care about there own needs and survival. the problem is, humans brains have become soo complicated different chemical reactions can make you feel different ways about things. Deep down we all have the same determination for self preservation, despite how you may think you feel, subconsciously we all have the same instincts about things and how to handle them. again the problem is our brains are so complicated mental problems can accure to change the way we deal with things. for example, two ppl run into eachother and spill there food all over eachother, both have a burst of anger but the mentally stable person can recognize that it was an accident and move on from the anger. the other person who has a chemical imbalance, he cant recognize it was an accident and lets the anger he feels out.

in short; everyone is violent by nature, but everything and everyone has an influence on how we act on said violet nature.

Great topic! I'd probably say that we're all capable of beeing violent, but also peaceful. So the thing that makes man violent is probably society, but I don't think there are more violent than non-violents
Also, violence is born from fear and there seems to be alot of things to fear out there... like violence?

To say man is violent purely off influence of other men's violence is nothing short of ignorant. How would said violent men that provide an example learn to be violent in the first place?
We are simply violent by nature, as are most animals that still exist today.

Let's say you do some violence at the age of 10 and some at the age of 20. At all times between beeing violent you're doing nothing but peaceful things, would you still define this as violent in nature?

Also just to add a follow question to this topic(not that I started it :D), could one say that a child is violent in nature? Let's take a 2 year old kid for instance who haven't really been exposed to the society yet.
