i had a 1991 mitsubishi montero that ran to 300,000 miles before we traded it to mechanic for labor on 2 other cars. it was a very dependable car, no work done on it for the last 3 years i had it, manual transmission, 24 valve V6 engine (eclipse engine) even had an inclinometer in it for loading/unloading. i cant speak for newer mitsubishi cars/trucks, but that thing was a tank.
