This seems to be a good deal....but you have to remember, it's a "refurbished" computer, meaning....someone else purchased it, and found problems with it.....so it was sent back, and fixed...(or was it)...
Sometimes problems can't be replicated when the computer is sent in for repair....so a problem that the previous person was having, may not have happened while the tech was checking it out...OR, the tech probably reloaded the Operating system, and the problem never occurred.
Personally, Intel works better than AMD...(yes, there will be arguments against Intel) but i've had both, and find that Intel performs much better with games and application smoothing, than Amd.
DDR Ram is always a plus!! It's upgradable to 16G...BONUS!!!
Radeon is superior to all the other graphics cards out there (and yes, Nvidia owners will argue this point) I am going by experience.
It's a good case, with expandable slots...(that's always a plus)
Over all, it's a good buy...
The downfall...don't expect to get good customer support from Gateway....
If you do purchase this...i would like to know how it's functioning for you...
