would you mind expanding on this? i wikipedia'd this topic and didn't fully understand it.
how would these explain the existence of mass in the universe
I know this may sound shocking, but the Higgs Boson is dubbed the "God" particle, namely it is the particle that is theoretically exists in a scalar field. The Higgs boson is a fundamental particle that is very large and is the only particle to have supposed scalar quantities.
I'm not a physics major, but the Higgs Boson will merely describe through scientific experiment what are the origins of mass in the universe, and what is the fundamental particle interaction between mass and gravity.
