I suggest to the people interested in this subject to watch the documentary by Alan Yentob on neurologist Oliver Sacks's book: Musicophilia - Tales of music and the brain. Very interesting. Including people with Amusia (the inability to recognize rythm), a young man with Tourette's whose tics disappear when he's drumming, and more interesting influences of music on the brain.
