How free is our mind?

Are we able to make decision based on our psychological free will, ore is a decission just the product of biochemical processes in our brain?

what do you think?

By product, its proven that a child who has zero education such as yourself, can only ask questions that has been brought to their attention. we as humans live/learn through experience. it is impossible to think for yourself. Unless you belive in spirits and a 6th sense

im reading a book called the dharma bums by jack kerouak and it goes on subjects like this. When you meditate and get to the "no-thinking" phase your mind is completely free i think. The book has a lot of cool sayings/proverbs and stuff, id reccommend it to people who like these types of questions
