Get some liquid Nitrogen and freeze stuff!

Drop some marbles on the floor and watch them explode, make air filled balloons shrink to nothing then rebound afterwords and then when your audience is amazed freeze some strawberries and feed them!

Science, entertainment and cold refreshing deserts is a powerful trio.

This is a nice one: You will need to be careful and have enough safety precautions, as well as some understanding of electrics.

A coil gun, which consists of a barrel, a coil wrapped around it, and some capacitors. The capacitors get charged, you put a ferro-magnetic object in the barrel, flick the switch and by Lorentz-force the projectile propels out of the barrel :).

Movie if you do it the pro way:

Be sure to have someone with knowledge of electronics around, if you get jolted from a 400V 400uF cap you can die.

drop a rock from any height

What are you trying to prove?

That no matter the height it falls?

you'd have to come up with your own theories

I want to do a physics experiment, that is rudimentary, yet fun and not very difficult. One not is not refined for perfection :)

You could create pictures using different sizes of magnets and a lot of iron filings. We did something similar in my physics class earlier this year.

A very very simple one:

Fill a bowl with some liquid that doesn't catch fire, place a couple of burning matches in the middle and put a glass over it :p watch the liquid be sucked into the glass (which is upside down) due to the vacuum created by the matches :pp

That sounds very simple and fun lol
ima try that tomorrow

na u gotta make an entirely ceramic engine huge helecopter and attach one of those junkyard crane electromagnet things on it and turn it on and fly over some empty houses and see how many nails u can get to come out of their roof

Do a Ruben's Tube Experiment, it's pretty neat and simple

Get a PVC pipe and drill holes uniformly across it and wrap it with something fire resistant to prevent the pipe from melting

Hook one end of the PVC up to a speaker and the other up to flammable gas, turn on the gas and ignite it, then crank on the tunes and a sound wave will form from the fire coming from the holes in the pipe
