It is reductionism but it does not however apply... Bio is ochem, but to go into bio you don't need that much ochem knowledge per say. You just need to know certain specific interactions and thats about all, ochem encompasses a much wider range than whats in biology. Chemistry IS applied physics, how ever chemists hardly ever know anything about physics unless they're chemical engineers. And math came from physics :). So math is unapplied physics XD
