time is just the progression of existence-
the playing out of every action and reaction, the first action being the beginning of time.
we experience this more acutely because we are a reaction having the intelligence to question and comprehend this kind of thought
its simple really,
Time is the same wherever you go. it is happening at the same rate, only the perception of it changes because of the cycle from which you were brought.
ex: if you are a creature of a larger planet your life is longer and a smaller planet?shorter life... you get this?
there is no actual distortion of time in space due to its bending under the force of the central object
to conclude this i also believe that all time, from beggining to end is happening all at once, or in one moment. different timescales can be experienced though.
you can experience this time to be infinitely long if you are on an object that is spinning fast enough.
at the edge of the universe, one would observe the earth to be spinning at, lets say 100000000000000000 times per second.

this is for everyone who thinks that time is of some form and that it can be distorted or bent by the forces of objects
the only thing being distorted or bent is your perception.

interesting....

Einstein claims that time is relative to the observer.

Check out relativity if you really want to put your thinking cap on but your description is flawed on many levels.

Leave the big thinking to the big boys smile.gif (icon_pointl.gif- And I don't inlcude myself in that)

theory of relativity is now out of date my friend. as we speak newtonian physics -a rudimentary pillar of modern physics is being rewritten.

i also believe time simply exists all at once after reading about all of these paired photon experiments. very fascinating.

i guess i disagree with Einstein

only the rate at which you perceive it to be happening can change

Some interesting 'googling' I just did. I would like to note though, that only part of the theory of relativity is wrong and that they are tring to unify it with quantum phyisics theories into one unifying theory. Basically there is a gap in the math between the way really really really small things work and how big thigs work.

Back to time though.

You might want to get some data on your side before you go disagreeing w/ one of the most influential physicists of all time.

Your signature gained more of my attention than this essay did.
