i would need a lot of proof to beleive that it causes testicular cancer. like another said it just sounds like the media is trying to do the same scare tactics its been doing for a very long time.

first the body does have its own natural cannabinoid chemical. not just males ALL people. We also have receptors everywhere in our body not just in certain areas.

and i must ask- if our body creates its own chemical that protects against cancer then why would smoking marijuana which has a chemical almost exactly like the one in our body cause cancer? logic dictates that it would help against cancer.

the whole article is kind of vague. they need to straiten some shit out first.

Your body has a receptor for anything you can ingest that produces an effect. It has receptors that can bind to nicotine, tar, alcohol, any number of carcinogens, artificial hormones (Which can also give you cancer if used over extended periods of time).

Just because your body has a receptor it can bind to doesn't mean it is perfectly safe.

The benefits of marijuana are it gets you high. There are numerous studies linking it to brain abnormalities and psychosis especially if taken by teenagers. I'm all for marijuana reform, I think it should be realized but anyone who tries to claim it fights cancer or turns lead to gold is just misinformed or deluded. It does have great pain control propterties, and it does wonderful things for people with glaucoma, in fact I started smoking pot because I get chronic migraines, and it really helps. It is not a cure for anything though. NOTHING. It cures absolutely nothing.

smoking causes cancer, shitty food increases risks for cancer..people do that on a regular basis. smoking weed is probably less risky than both of those in the long run, i mean if youre a healthy person who smokes a bit of weed here and there, it probably won't cause you problems

so because it's less harmful than cigarettes...it's ok...

So I can kill one person...look at serial killers....they're much worse than I....
