I have him in a 20 gallon tank with 2x Black Moors, a 6" Sucker Fish (Forgot the acctual name), and a pink kissing fish.

Plenty of room biggrin.gif

Good deal. i heard the general rule of thumb is 1 gallon for every inch of fish in the tank. and fyi suckerfish are plecos, it's short for their scientific name whose correct spelling escapes me atm. also forgot to mention, i have a couple red neck slider turtles in my pond, it's really sweet smile.gif

keep him away from your chest Steve
lol i was just thinking something similar when i saw the mention of stingrays

edit- i think the reason, if anything, why it got him was because he wasn't expecting it. nobody would of ever expected the manly crocodile hunter to get killed by a stingray(including him). this probably affected his behavior around them.

but like he said in his one video, things can be deceiving

like the hippo, nobody's really afraid of them, but they kill more people than crocodiles

His name is Max.

Approximately 5" in diameter, and expected to grow to around 8-10" in diameter.

He is still barbed (still has his stinger, but for defense only).

Non venemous.

The picture is located in my personal album, please comment/rate there!

Nice ray.

The stingray that killed steve was not poisonous, he died because it stabbed him in the heart

Irwin was stung by a bull ray, that species possessed (as well as many others) a barb coated in a protein-based toxin(VENOM).
