It depends what you define as "doing something".

If you count your inner bodily functions, such as the heart pumping or your food digesting, then yes, you are always doing something (there is always *some* form of motion inside your body).

If you only count things that you are doing consciously, then I guess it is possible. However, would you count sight as something "conscious"? You consciously know you're looking at something, but you don't consciously know how your eyes are working or how your brain is interpreting sight. You don't really have control over your sight though (except obviously where you're looking). You can't "switch it off" whenever you want (you still technically see with your eyes closed I think, and even if you didn't, keeping your eyes closed is "doing something").

Then there's the whole philisophical angle. Does doing nothing count as doing something? >_<

That's philosophy, not science or technology.

Human body is constantly in motion if you want to count the rotation of the earth and its orbit around the Sun not to mention out solar system orbits around the galaxy itself.

even in a relative sense it is in motion. electrons orbit a neucleus and spin unless at absolute zero. your brain is always active, even for some time after you die neurons still fire.

Nothing is an awesome concept to discuss, but it's much more philosophy than it is science.
You should post this up in Political & Religious Discussion (philosophy is sort of included in it).

well nothing is directly related to everything and that pretty much covers science and technology as well.... IMO
