I don't remember where I read this, but I'm pretty sure water vapor counts for 70% of greenhouse gases. We obviously cannot control the amount of water vapor in the air, and that amount is always fluctuating.
Recent studies have shown that CO2 is increased by temperature, not the other way around (so millions of Americans think). As temperature rises, Carbon Dioxide levels increase.
Yes, water vapor is a very effective greenhouse gas. However, you're stupid if you think its the cause of global warming. The concentration of water vapor in the atmosphere is essentially at a steady state. No matter how much we add, it will not even make a dent (thanks to the oceans). The amount fluctuates only as a function of seasons but otherwise is not changing.
Carbon dioxide concentration does increase with temperature, but all you have to do is look at Venus to see that the opposite is also true.
