ROFL!!!
heyy if you could erase memories? could you create them?? and insert them into someones brain?? or transfer memories onto like a floppy disk and just poof them into someones head?? a lifetime of experience and knowledge into a 12 year olds head??
It's really easy to create memories. Look up Elizabeth Loftus's lost in the mall study.
Theres controversy in the psychology field about therapists who induce disorders like Dissociative identity disorder in the clients and cause them to "remember" traumas and abuses that never happened. When a person claims to remember a repressed memory from their childhood, take it with a grain of salt because they can be implanted by the psychologist if they used hypnosis to treat their patient.
