Did you know the amount of melatonin released (the stuff that colors your skin) is based on the sunlight taken in by your eyes. So if you wear sunglasses or eye covers and go to the beach you won't get as tan.

just because they can't see the light doesn't mean that the light doesn't enter their eyes.

wow thats some pretty interesting stuff, I mean although it fits right into classical Darwin's theory its just interesting because no one ever thinks of something negative being able to help.

This book also discussed how human babies were meant to be born underwater.
That's why we're one of the most hairless mammals (excluding dolphins who do have babies underwater). Because we are "semi-aquatic"
That's why women have such small birth canals compared to our growing head size. Water eases the birthing process.
That's why babies don't breathe until air hits their face. when they are born underwater they have a natural instinct to wave their arms and SWIM to the surface. They lose this instinct to swim after a few months.
