It's possible.
And I guarantee nasa, and the military/goverment(area 51, in nevada), are hiding alot of crap.

Maybe, but that doesn't mean we have had contact with aliens. It's possible that aliens exist, it's just not probable.

What are you talking about?
Do you have any idea how huge the universe is?
How many galaxys exist?
How many planets there are?

I doubt out of hundreds of thousands of galaxys that NONE will have life.
When you think of "aliens", you probably think about green people in UFOS, with lazer beam guns; though they could be anything.

Obviously you have not read this entire thread. If you did you would know that I definately don't think if green people with laser beams when I hear the word alien. I realize how insanely massive the universe is. The chances of any other planet having intelligent life are still pretty miniscule when we examine the galaxies that we know of.

The odds against any life on even our planet is trillions and trillions to one. We got damn lucky. There has never been any solid (or decent) proof that aliens exist but there is a lot of information about how small the chances for life to exist anywhere are. Obviously none of us can say for sure whether aliens exist or not, but I think it's safe to say that on the off chance that they do exist we will not come into contact with them any time soon.

I also don't understand why everybody always thinks that if there are aliens that they will be more advanced than we are. Probably all the sci-fi movies and shit people watch. The chances of there being another type of life that has technology as advanced as ours is pretty fuckin small.  Not to mention the chances of them having free will like humans do.

Wrong...you don't quite understand darwin's theory...any life that develops will develop according to the environment around it. If the earth was where Jupiter was for example, then who knows, we might have all been penguin like artic animals with five legs...idk, just an example. The point is that we exist not because our conditions were ideal to fit life, but that life conformed to fit the conditions.

Therefore, with so many trillions and trillions of galaxies and clusters in this universe, there is a HIGH probability (99.99% sure) that other alien life exists -- whether they are intelligent or not, this is an arguement that is pointless because there is absoultely no ground for such a discussion.

No. It's highly improbably and there's no point in hiding an alien crash.

You're right that its highly improbable an alien would crash let alone even be able to travel such distances to come here...but if it some how did happen, the government would hide it. First off, because it would set off a panic attack (no one would believe its an alien, thus they would say "Oh this or that country is attacking us") and secondly, if someone with the capabilities to fly so far crashed here...you wouldn't hide it? The gov't would definitely use that information to build itself some kick ass planes man -- thats something you don't want other gov'ts to know about.

If the conditions on this planet were any different then we would not exist. Jupiter cannot support life, regardless if it were where the earth was. If there is no grounds for us to argue this when why are you telling me that you are 99% sure that aliens exist? I like to think aliens exist too. I'm just looking at this issue objectively.

They might hide it if this were a Cold War situation where we are in extreme conflict with dangerous countries.
But I think (as long as the technology couldn't be used to create new weapons), it would be foolish to not share your knowledge.
But I just added that as a side note, the main reason why I think no aliens have been here is just because:
1. There might not be any life out there.
2. There might not be any intelligent life out there
3. Even if there is intelligent life, they might not know we are out there.
4. Even if there is intelligent life and they know where we are, they might not have the technology. They could just simply be too far away.

The idea of a human-like alien is pretty absurd. Who is to say the aren't just bacteria?

I find it highly unlikely that the technology capable of travel through light-years cannot be weaponized in some form.

I'd like to add a 5th point to your excellent ones:

5.Even if intelligent life existed elsewhere and they had developed highly advanced technology, they most likely wouldn't share human motivations. They might not care to explore space, they could be content doing other things that would never bring them into contact with us.
