Of course we're not the only living things in the universe. In my opinion there is extraterrestrial life somewhere in our solar system. Some bacterias etc.

Well our galaxy has approximately 10^69 atomic particles (including dark and strange matter) and it has at least one intelligent species. There is approximately 1 trillion times the amount of matter in our galaxy in the known universe and when you couple that with the knowledge that there are an infinite number of special mutations possible while still constituting an intelligent species I think it is fairly safe to assume that there is plenty of intelligent life in the universe, possibly several degrees higher than 1 trillion.

think about all the things on our planet alone that we dont know about, like deep in the ocean etc,
im sure there is something out there that we havent yet found
