When you read about dark matter, do you think, "Yea, that totally sounds right," or, "That's crazy, of course that's not true?"

it's just a theory - whether it's true or not doesn't really matter and neither will assigning any arbitrary determination on its validity.

It is what observation seems to demand.

I refuse to believe in its existence

Matter can be physically detected, that's kind of the point of matter, it's there

But now we're proposing there is a physical substance in space that we cannot feel or see, that is everywhere

It's almost like dark matter in science is the equivalent of God in Christianity

Yeah, except how many matter particles have been predicted before a powerful enough detector existed to find them (hint: a whole bunch!)? They are required to make theory match observation, just like so many particles before (and probably after).

I think there isn't much debate about whether they exist and although they are pretty black, are not dark matter, just regular matter compressed a lot
although I guess there might be black holes made of dark matter possibly, there's probably some theory about it.

stars have been witnessed being pulled into an apparent void, along with gravitational lensing where nothing is

Leads to a high probability that black "holes" , do exist

But we can't see or feel them only infer their existence based on what we can see

You just pointed at a future nobel prize, and you don't know it, dude
