Could our universe just be a black hole within another universe? Could black holes be a way for a universe to replicate itself?

Thoughts?

It's possible were inside a universe duck and it replicates by having more eggs, but not likely.

i just don't see any hard evidence to suggest that noodles are sentient.

Not really. Black hole's inside horizon idea is that it is extremaly dense. A lot of matter in 1 point smaller than an atom. Is our Universe so dense? Nope :)
I love black holes so feel free to PM me for some further conversations or questions, I am not an expert but I am more into them recently.

michu kaku thinks so (but he kinda thinks alot of crazy things), as far as plausibility, it requires a digital universe (i'm pretty convinced "on and off" are not the desired "inputs" of the universe, but michu kaku is quite a bit more educated than i, so again it's still plausible, i'm just not convinced), it requires a slowly degrading universe (hawking radiation, we do not see this in the normal universe, but again, it may just be difficult to detect), and finally it requires a 2d universe interpreted to a 3d model through our eyes (math i cannot do)

That's interesting. I must dig in deeper on that :O

Could our universe just be a black hole within another universe?

- It could, but I doubt it. I do not think we're in one.

Could black holes be a way for a universe to replicate itself?

- I dont think so. I could be wrong, not sure if much research has been done about; replicating universes.

Those are my opinions :D

There is a theory in which matter passing through a black hole becomes an anti-matter on the other side. There is also another theory in which matter passing through a black hole, becomes dematerialized on the other side and it looks like a waterfall

Cool stuff, love theories. You're just posting to say, there are theories, or are you suggesting that replicating is the same?

I dont think matter is equal to anti-matter, their opposites, no?
And replicating means, duplicating, copying.
