More people are killed by pretty much anything else in America. It's still no big deal.

Everyone panics about a disease killing one person. Meanwhile the #1 killer in America is heart disease, something that is completely controllable by not eating junk food and exercising. Ironic.

The complications of ebola such as diarrhea / vomiting is what kills the patient, not necessarily the virus itself.
That's why the mortality rate is so high in third world countries.

Actually, what primarily kills people infected with Ebola is organ failure due to loss of blood pressure after the massive hemorrhaging (internal and external) caused by the breakdown and breakage of blood vessels in the body.
