This theory basically claims the moon isn't natural (not even going into what that would mean)

There are many theories that explain how the moon got to where it is and they all are from watertight

"The best explanation for the moon is observational error - the moon doesn't exist" -Irwin Shaprio, from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics

I think its plausible, that the moon was created and placed into orbit around Earth intentionally

how about you?

edit: if you disagree, what theory do you believe caused the moon to be what/where it is today

basic overview if you didn't know bout it

About how the moon was created? I dont know, I have not investigated on my own, I dont know any of the experimental evidence, nor do I even know many of the "theories." Its just not my area of interest.

Why do I need to "believe" a theory? Thats basically turning it into a religion.

That is highly unlikely the way you are implying it was done. The moon was created generally the same way all other moons were created.

A large gathering of space debris over a long period of time collided and compressed together. It's probably difficult to understand how matter could collide and then become a bigger thing rather than break into smaller pieces, but if you generally thing of it like snow, it is the same concept.
It is extremely cold in space, which means there is very difficult to gain kinetic energy, and when it is finally transferred it takes longer for it to transfer than it would normally take for matter on Earth that is already heated. As you probably know, cold objects tend to stick regardless of the material. The same concept is applied to massive space debris.

This "theory," is the generally accepted to be true, just like the Big Bang Theory is.
To give you clarity on how our moon was created, the moon was actually a part of the Earth at one time, and a large piece of space debris- asteroid if you will- collided with Earth and thus broke off a large part that eventually became the Moon.

My definition is rather spaced, but that is the baseline of what happened.

I hope this helps clear up any subjective conspiracies you have been contemplating.

So because "it's always been there" you don't ever question how it got there?
if you study the mathematical ratios related to the earth, sun, and moon

the data is really rather peculiar.

Not really its not my area of interest, like i said.

but why is the data particular? what data? what mathematical ratios are you talking about?

Try Google: "How was the Moon created"

the moon is exactly 1/400th of the size of the sun
and its orbit occurs at a distance of exactly 1/400th the distance between the earth and the sun.
(this causes total eclipses, a unique phenomenon as far as we know)

the earth is 3.66 times the size of the moon, and takes 366 days to orbit the sun
the moon takes 27.322 days to orbit the earth, which creates a very neat 10,000 days to complete 366 orbits

say you believe those things are just coincidences, that they're just a fluke

virtually every other planet/moon/sun relation that we know about is completely random

keep in mind these are a few facts, these scientists wrote a book comprising years of research....
it only gets weirder
