What I used to do was take 4 gatorade caps and put one under each corner of the laptop, then have one of those metal frame desk fans pointing on it.

Then I got rid of my old shitty laptop and got a new one that had a proper cooling system.

A less-ghetto solution involves buying a laptop cooling pad, though.

just buy a laptop cooler, you can grab one from wal-mart for about $30

soo maybe some kind of cooler your laptop sits in would sell? it is getting hot out there..cooling bad works

I do something similar. I prop up the back of laptop so it's raised off the desk. Then the fan in my room blows under the laptop to help cool it. Also I took laptop apart and cleaned out the fan area with compressed air

We well a raised air pad cooler at Best Buy

Paper in/out tray.

Turn it upside down.

Perfect.
