gold or copper?

and what are other alternatives electricity conductor out there that are more efficient than gold and copper?

im pretty sure gold is a better conductor

silver and platinum are also both really good conductors

It is.

That's why you see a lot of top end electric equipment being gold plated/gold at the contact points.

copper has a higher conductivity which means it conducts better than gold

but gold has properties that make it better than copper in circuits, what i can recall is that its very easy to make very thin layers of gold (which are also very durable), whereas with copper its harder
and it barely gets oxidised

silver has the best conductivity out of all the common metals

Gold I always thought was, guess not, idk i thought temp of the metal was also a factor.

Conductivity is 1/resistivity. Here are some metals, in order of increasing resistivity (meaning silver has the least resistivity of the metal listed and thus it conducts better than the others):

Code

Material         ρ (Ω•m) at 20 °C
-----------------------------------
Silver           1.59×10^−8
Copper           1.68×10^−8
Annealed copper  1.72×10^−8
Gold             2.44×10^−8
Aluminium        2.82×10^−8
Calcium          3.36×10^−8
Tungsten         5.60×10^−8
Zinc             5.90×10^−8
Nickel           6.99×10^−8
Lithium          9.28×10^−8
Iron             1.0 ×10^−7
-----------------------------------
