We were talking about early humans finding fire, and it eventually led to me thinking that before there was light for them at night, they were probably extremely scared of the dark and what lurked within. I think it is completely probable that our own fear of the dark when we are children stemmed from this, even some of the adults I know are still afraid of the dark. The fear of the unknown.

What do you guys think?

Not exactly, just the fact that they found out how to create fire. I do know the story or Prometheus though.

Good for you. I was not saying that I am at all afraid of the dark, I can stand it just fine. I was talking about our fear of the dark as children. Are you 5 years old?

bro i was never afraid of the dark. city people are afraid of the dark. country people like me have a totally different perspective on the matter.

I am not from the city, thank you. I live in northern canada.
I was still afraid of the dark when I was a kid, but not to the point that I would have a nightlight.
