Hello,
I would love to be able to prove everything I believe in. Unfortunately, I can't.
Some people just don't believe in things before they have evidence of truth.

So here is my question, are YOU able to prove everything you believe in or are there things you just cannot prove?
Question 2: Do you always need proof to be sure something is true or do you sometimes trust your intuition?

It's perfectly natural to ask for evidence before believing in something. That's the entire foundation of science.

Your questions are rather very broad and generic. Are you specifically talking about religion or something else?

If there is no evidence to support a claim, then there is no reason to believe it. If there is evidence (the type that stands up to skeptical scrutiny) to support a claim, that doesn't mean it has been proven, but it means there is a logical reason to say you believe it.

Well yes I am mostly talking about subjects that modern science can't prove yet such as forces we can't see nor measure.

Why is there no reason to believe in something even if you have not found evidence yet?

Do you believe in wizards? Dragons? Santa Claus? The Easter bunny? If you believe in one god, do you believe in some other god too at the same time

Why not? Is it because there is no evidence of their existence? In almost every circumstance, people rely on their senses in order to determine what is true about the world we live in. The fact that people suspend the requirement of evidence for the sake of things like religion is just mind-boggling to me.

Depends entirely on what it is that you're trying to prove.

Well I am reading this science book about energy fields. It claims that each form of life has an energy field surrounding it. Humans, animals and even plants have these energy fields.
There are currently scientific researches on the subject. The only issue is that the eye can't percieve this form of energy.. Although some claim to be able to see it.

I believe in this and I would like to find some evidence, where/how can I search to prove it?

Every living thing has a very, VERY small electromagnetic field associated with it. It is detectable, but that's not the type of energy it's talking about. They're probably talking about auras or things like that, and things like that fall outside the boundaries of science. Out of curiosity, what's the name of the book?

And do they actually name what the energy is? Like they call it the "body energy" or something similar to that? Maybe "life energy"? If I knew that, I could probably help you look for a source to give evidence either for or against it.

I agree.

Wait... Damn this scientific method!

I suppose this makes me a nerd... Perhaps I should upgrade my glass' thickness
