i only want to spend 150 max for earpieces or headphones maybe depending on them but i want them to be a great middle between hardcore rock and rap(what i listen to) so great bass highs mids lows. but maybe more bass but not overpowered by bass were u cant hear anything like the solo beats by dre beats. start saying names i guess and your experience with the item

avoid head phones, unless you don't really care about your future hearing.

Sennheiser HD-25.

Completely modular, and great sound in all ranges.

i would go with head phones, it you really want to spend 150 you should make sure you get a desent pair with a good warrenty also get the cord double'd wrapped for less chance of them breaking, some people like the skull candies, dr dres, etc. but i also found out that you can get head phones that people use for recording are great too. Just go to a Music store and ask about them they'll know what ur talking about

Skull Candies.. ive had two.. both I dont like... they say on the box "sound canceling" what they mean by this is ... BLAST it very loud so u can hear others and than after 10 mins take it off so that u can hear ringing...
