No. The 2 is a subscript of Nitrogen meaning there is two atoms of Nitrogen to one of Oxygen. Sort of like H2O or Dihydrogen Monoxide. If you want to get technical it's Dinitrogen Monoxide.

Before commenting on others knowledge of a subject, you should at least pass the basics of that subject.

Nitrogen Dioxide would be NO2.
