this thing draws on idle? well i guess the power it draws on stand by?

i cant seem to find it anywhere

You would have to buy one and get out a multimeter to find out. Wire in series between one of the battery contacts and the battery. It is probably a very small draw on idle though. It depends on whether the sensor is passive (no power drawn until activated by remote) or active (idle power usage to scan for remote signal).
