Okay so I'm getting ready to buy a brand new laptop for myself!! I have succesfully saved $1,400 that I want to spend on this puppy...

Will mostly be playing games / using to for college..

Any advice on what to get will be greatly appreciated... THANKS JSP!!!

wat country r u in?

and if it's mostly for games, go for a nice 17' size laptop with a graphics card, not built-in graphics chip

custom build a sony vaio f series, ive had mine for a while now, and it's amazing.

if you ever get jacked up with viruses you can just f10 reset it and its back to factory settings

Why do you specifically want a laptop for gaming purposes as it's not really optimal. You could get a cheap notebook (400,-) for your college stuff and a decent desktop for gaming for the rest easily.

Just saying...
