Anyone know how/why?
No matter how much I dust, it eventually comes back and piles up.
I bought a new keyboard and I clean it every now and then since it always collects dust fast
and the area around my computer tower gets dusty

Indeed. Your skin flakes off (and turns to dust) so rapidly that you replace your entire epidermis every 2-4 weeks.

or you just have windows in your room, which bring dust particles in from outside through a draft in the window.

My windows are always closed.
And dust can be many things.
They mostly collect around my computer cables/wires and power cords :[

Things get dusty, the solution is dusting them when they get dusty. Hope this solves your problem...
