I think if NASA ends up doing it, we'll certainly have people that are willing to go. Still though, only sending maybe 4 people per trip? Better hope they all get along, forever.

im all for this if people wana go and do it let them

but i dont see how we could possible teraform mars into a earth like planet the best we could do is build massive domes or a huge underground network mars dosent have a molten core so there is no magnetic field so mars is pounded by the sun solar winds and such and it blows away the atmosphere

Sounds good. If they made it to the moon in the time it took them, then we can probably make it to Mars. They jsut better be willing to die, or be best friends with the people they're going with for a long ass time.

And also, we could Terraform mars in about 100 years. Build a shitload of powerplants to put Co2 into the atmosphere and eventually it'll heat up enough for the ice caps to melt. I think we've got pretty good at that.

Its has been said that they have been focusing on making warp drive and expertimenting with it...they believe its theoretically possible. It takes obscene amount of energy to do warp but its interesting that they are considering it.

the theory is there and has been contemplated for quite a while. we just dont have necessary materials to do it.

Terraform is a madeup word so LoL

And about the warp drive

A Mexican Physicist already developed a formula to create a warp drive. We lack the technology to execute though.

lol wat

I mean, sure, but so are "Modem" and "Ethernet" and all sorts of other words related to technology. :( Terraform has been in the OED for over 60 years.
