Wow that's quite interesting...I'm definitely gonna try and find more about that, it sounds awesome.

The only problem I have with this conclusion is that we have found no evidence of advanced ancient technology used to build these bombs or other technological feats. If they knew how to build atom bombs then why were they still using clay pots and sun-dried brick houses?

Maybe some asteroid that was radiated struck the Earth. Wouldnt even have to be a big one, and it'd still be more powerful than a Nuke.
On a side note, I saw on some ancient astronaut show where they though the Arc of the Covenant was a nuclear-powered device. All the people around it had their hair/finger nails start falling out, which is a classic sign of radiation poisoning.
