No. 3 is probably just an animal, whose tracks have melted in the snow and become distorted. Usually they look bigger then they actually are when the snow melts.
No 4. I think I've seen something about this on TV, and in that area for "vodoo" they eat some fish (And also use it in rituals) that contain a toxin that paralyzes you, and most people would probably think you were dead.. especially back then.
The "odd behavior" was probably part of brain damage, or just trauma from waking up in a coffin/underground.
