In terms of eating regular food tho to reduce the burn, what would be ok?

ya there are foods that do cause flare ups. you can check like webmd or something to get a full list. i don't have it so im not 100% on what all does.

Aren't their anti acid tablets you can take? I believe they can just be bought over counter at most pharmacies.

anything with a ph over 7 is good, if ur really desperate u can eat chalk.

bread and noodles always help my acid reflux, my dad uses chicken broth

milk is good if its jus irritating but i wouldnt recomend it in an emergency due to the whole curdling thing (trust me u do nooooooooot want to puke curdled milk)

milk seems to help me. but if i jus get it at night i drink water cuz im butt ass tired
