Oh and I forgot the #1 thing that is most important.. Just FYI, we , and all other large land animals will die out in about 750,000 years, based on Eaths inhabitability alone. This is because far before the Sun "dies" and turns into a Red Giant, it will heat up to the point that Earth will no longer be able to sustain "large land animals". Large being anything over abou 30 lbs. This is because as the sun ages, it releases more radiation and "heat". This increased radiation will eventually make Earth unlivable for creatures of our phyiscal stature. Life will continue to exist on Earth for Millions of years after the large land animals are gone, but we will not be able to be here without some sort of protection or way to deflect radiation.
Need I also remind you that to think we will still be around @ any time near either of these events is somewhat arrogant.. EVERY creature that has ever came to be on this Earth has died out. And although we have been gifted with amazing talents, it is still a stretch to think that we can defy nature and beat the circle of life and the way of the world.. Most estimates for the future of humans state that there is a 95% chance we will be extinct by the year 11,000. Again, both of my posts assume (somewhat foolishly) that another sort of pandemic, be it an asteroid or a plauge or another mass extinction doesn't completey remove us from any future we might possibly have.
how do you figure? where exactly did all of the life that exists now come from if every species died out? the correct answer is most died out, the rest evolved and kept reproducing. also your facts about 750k year climate changes due to the sun's increased activity is rediculous and id like to know where you found that info so i can post it here:
