Their structure held up well against the waves, too. I've been interested in reading about insect supersocial behaviour for a while now, just because there may be a lot we can learn from it for our own societies. That video has to make you wonder if they're just exhibiting an evolved blind loyalty to preserve reproducton of their genetics, or if there's a kind of collective planning going on as they work. That's a remarkable video :)
