Ok this is kinda complicated...

According to the theory of relativity, based on the speed at which one observer is going his or her perception of time is different to an observer who is stationary. Basically time slows down for the observer as he gets closer and closer to the speed of light compared to a 'non-moving' observer on earth.

Wouldn't that mean if there could be infinite observers placed in all locations at all speeds looking at the same object and that all this information could be tallied it would be possible to see the object in all states that it will ever be in? And i use to word object for lack of a better term, this could be possibly a single atom.

Another way to explain this would be to tail behind a space probe a tail of 12 space probes each going 5% slower than the first going 99% the speed of light, all pointed upon the same atom, all (bear with me here) able to relay the information back to a computer or something, the atom would be in 12 different places (state/age/whatever it wouldnt be the exact same) at the same time... right?

Since the place its in depends on when but the rate time goes moves at depends on the observer?

I think that either you are clever, or I am stupid, or this doesnt make sense :)

Maybe the last one haha :P i wanna try to explain a little hope i dont fail!!

First of all before anyone says anything lol...

TL;DR

Some background information necessary for understanding:

lets pretend that we have some sort of vehicle that can travel any speed from 0-99% the speed of light

we start this vehicle easy going 30 miles an hour in my direction

you are on this vehicle and you throw a baseball 30 miles an hour in the same direction.... the baseballs speed is 60 miles per hour

almost all matter behaves this way

light behaves differently though, it has a constant speed

if you were to go 99% the speed of light and shine a flash light in my direction the photons would only be hitting me at the speed of light since the speed of light is the fastest matter can go

based on the fact that Acceleration=Force/Mass and the fact that Mass is based on the acceleration of an object the mass becomes larger with the growth of the acceleration

as the mass becomes closer and closer to infinite the force necessecary to increase the acceleration becomes infinite and there is no infinite amount of force in all the atoms and all their bonds in the entire universe

You may argue this but know that the theory of relativity and the core theories that branched from it are the MOST scientifically tested and challenged and thus verified theories in the history of modern science

There are particle acceleration machines costing billions of dollars that speed pieces of atoms to speeds near the speed of light and to move these microscopic pieces of matter it requires enough electricity to power thousands of homes.

This is just one tiny example

The Relevance:

Ok now that the speed of light is shown to be a kinda speed barrier. Think of that same vehicle we first used:

Instead of you throwing baseballs there are two mirrors with photons in between as you travel near the speed of light.

Sitting in the back of your vehicle you see the photons bounce up and down in a straight line... BUT an observer on a fixed point watching you go by <=====_/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ sees the light bouncing in a diagonal to catch up to the mirrors as they move in space.

A straight line is much shorter than a diagonal, yet light always travels a constant speed, so how can it cover 2 differen distances in the same amount of time?!?! @.@

This is where the time seems to slow down for the person in the vehicle to compensate for the different distances traveled.

This has been tested atomic clocks accurate to the millionth of a second have been put on a plane and one on the ground flew the plane around for a while and brought it back down and the clocks vary in a very constant method based on the rate and time of travel.

This is where all the weird thinking comes into play that we could control the flow of time since it is completely dependent on your speed....

This is too complicated for me to understand :) Sorry!

Edit: I get a headache just trying to think about this :P

Since this is not possible, what you said makes no sense.

He said IF dumbass. But to be honest, I've looked at this post a couple of times and thought about it -- and theres no way you can do this without a few mathematical computations...I'm just too lazy because I hate relativity lol.

If this is true it would be like everything has a set destiny and all that is and will be can be determined. I doubt we will figure if this would work in our lifetime though ^_^
