There now is better technology to provide evidence that there are therapeutic uses. We already knew that it could be used for industrial purposes but with the advanced technology it leans more toward the cannabis side and should work in the communities favor.
My point is stop touting it as the savior to mankind's problems. It only hurts the legalization movement. Seriously. People won't take you seriously unless you can back it up with conclusive proof. This guys work most has to do with endogenous canniboids which is entirely different from marijuana.
Background: I'm part of my school's cannabis reform coalition, which got the issue of decrim on the Massachusetts ballot this year and had it passed. I want to see marijuana legalized more than anything, but I'm also realistic to the fact it isn't good for you. It doesn't make you live longer, last longer in bed and cancer-proof every cell in your body. It has damaging effects, same as any drugs.
