I do belive in some of this, but i can tell that 99% of the storys that we see on TV, in news papers and internet are complite bull shit ! We live in age of science fiction, also suns magnetic waves fucking with our minds. Many centurys ago people didnt see no aliens or flying disks , they used to see Demons or Angels. If aliens were so advanced they wouldnt come to our planet in some space ship and then crash rofl... or let every one see theyr ship and then fuck off back to where they came from. Simple bacteria or earth gravity could kill them ofc , but if they were so advanced and could make it to earth they would definitely plan simple things like that and wouldnt crash. If they ever visited earth they would most likely send theyr robots that humans wont be able to see or ditect. And why would they even come to earth ? universe is huge and i bet there much more intresting stuff then some humans.

yeah the chances of aliens coming to us is pretty slim and the chance to "crash" onto us is just 0%

The odds against any life on even our planet is trillions and trillions to one. We got damn lucky. There has never been any solid (or decent) proof that aliens exist but there is a lot of information about how small the chances for life to exist anywhere are. Obviously none of us can say for sure whether aliens exist or not, but I think it's safe to say that on the off chance that they do exist we will not come into contact with them any time soon.

I also don't understand why everybody always thinks that if there are aliens that they will be more advanced than we are. Probably all the sci-fi movies and shit people watch. The chances of there being another type of life that has technology as advanced as ours is pretty fuckin small. Not to mention the chances of them having free will like humans do.

Yeah, it's probably from all the movies. Aliens might not even be nearly as advanced as us. They might not even be anything like us. They might not even be intelligent. "Life" is a pretty broad term. It might even be bacteria.

I think there will be life somewhere in the universe, just probably not intelligent life.

The tendency to give aliens human qualities probably stems from the fact that we, as humans, for whatever reason do it to bunches of organisms, and even non living things. Look at how we treat our pets.

Also Hollywood portrays aliens as human like to get a better response from the audience, it's much more exciting to watch aliens with zap guns blowing up the poor humans, then, say, air borne filter feeders in a gas giant's upper atmosphere.

As for the technology issue, obviously any species capable of interplanetary travel, either through machines or through space craft, has a technology level higher than our own.

But as for every single alien species having such technology? That might just be us replacing God/gods with aliens or something.

We want to intereact with something that is similar to us, but different. We haven't really had anything that fits the bill for the last 50,000 years.

And I guarantee nasa, and the military/goverment(area 51, in nevada), are hiding alot of crap.
