What are your thoughts and feelings?
For those that dont know what it is :
A quick sum up is that the scientists will take a 7-8 day old embryo (which is questioned whether alive or not) and can basically reform the cells in the embryo because its still soo young, they can change it to what ever they can by re shaping it. The pros of this is that you can basically are capable of curing anything that you please (diabetes, cancer and etc.) but the cons are that its questioned if you are killing a life.

If i messed up anything with this pardon me. I dont purposly mess up.

only religious people think its bad, i support it 100%

Nothing wrong with it as long as we aren't doing it in unethical ways

I have no problem with it and I fully endorse it. The evidence that it could be helpful already far outweighs the worries. All it comes down to is an ethical question of what constitutes life, and more importantly when is a human considered a human.

Contrary to what most believe stem cells aren't coming along as many believe they should. In theory they are able to cause many genetic and physical disorders but in reality we do not yet possess the ability to properly differentiate the signals that cause the cells to grow into specific organs. If we injected stem cells into a person now they would develop a teratoma.


But from a political perspective I see no issue with the research, the embryos that would be used are coming from fertility clinics that would have normally been discarded. When a couple wants to have a baby but cannot conceive they use artificial insemination which usually results in dozens of potential babies per couple with only one being ultimately used.

I think that Goverments are making a big miskae not funding it. If we did fund it we would be soo far ahead.

Thats why its called research and not treatment because with the research we can't determine if it should be used full-time or just in certain situations
