anyone know the best way to memorize this?

Usually students need to learn it by sections. Like first the fluids, and so on.

Learn it by pieces should be easy. You only need to practice your knowledge than.

What part of it? Maybe try thinking in terms of metals, inert gases, etc.. Or group them by some other property, like atomic mass or date of discovery, to make it more fun Th short names are pretty simple, so if you just recall those at first, assinging the place might be simplified.

Study it?
The easier way is the study it my friend

Small pieces, maybe even flash cards doing like 10 elements at a time

I agree with this, learning it by sections would make it much easier.

well i've kind of slacked off and have a test on it in chemistry tomorrow so i need to learn it all =/

yeah do it part by part, like metals first etc...

Deffinetaly learn it in pieces, maybe memorize a little song or jiggle to remember it better.

I'd go by pieces; noble gasses, metals, non-metals, Lanthanides and actinides.

I do think this belongs more in the homework section though; this isn't about science, but how to learn it. Maybe that's just me
