Blindfire vs popshot vs hardaim

which do you use?

I decided to play gears 2 after playing gears 1 for so long.

Lancer vs Hammerburst

Which one is better?

any tactics you guys use?

Blindfire: Really don't use too much unless I'm in the backfield giving surpressing fire (which isn't too often, I like to get in on the action ;D)

Popshot: I'm guessing you're talking about sniper rifle/pistol/boltok ? If that's the case, I'm pretty damn good w/ the boltok pistol. Getting active reload on it not only makes it stronger, but you can shoot it much faster. I'm more of a boomshot/torque bow guy, but I occasionally use the sniper rifle if it's at my disposal (I'm no pro with it but I can hold my own).

Hardaim: Usually what I do most of the time, hipfiring a weapon is just retarded.

Lancer vs. Hammerburst: After playing both, it can go either way. Lancer gives you the obv option of chainsawing people, but with the hammerburst you can zoom in, and with an active reload you can usually take down an enemy with 5-6 well aimed shots (especially if you can pull the trigger faster).

Both hammer and lancer are good, but if you're real good, the I'd say hammerburst is the way to go.


I usually play guardian because it's the most interesting game type in my opinion; so I usually run in shotguns blazing. Keep your distance though, because a surprising number of people STILL try to 2 piece. Just shows their lack of skill if you ask me.
