In your opinions, what is the map that is easiest to achieve the 50 horde waves achievement?

Post strategy also if you have one that matches a particular map.

Whore mulcher on security

Security liek her said. Camp where the mulcher/mortar spawna nd setup frags on the walls next tol the lasers where they can get in.

Or Day One, all go camp on the top side where hammer/mortar spawn. And setup up shields on the stairs to stop them from coming up, liek 2-3 will do the jobs. But make sure you replant them every round or they will disappear.

if u get a sheild and go by torque bow on dayone you can beat evey wave on insane by yourself

wave 9 19 29 39 49 are the only hard ones if you dont kill the kantus fast cuz they will ink your camping spot and force you to retreat

I think the bloodmounts and the maulers would give you a problem before the kantus will. Especially on insane.


Are you saying plant the shield in the ground in front of you?


Also, my favorite map to horde on is pavilion. You can alamo where the shield spawns, or just defend where the shield spawns, but it's fun to plant frags in different places because they're pretty much all running to you. In security, they find cover and pretty much sit and camp for a solid 5 mins.

river is the easyest way to get the acheivy hoard the horde... just kill untill u get to wave 8 then make sure u kill one mauler then take his sheild and plant it in the DOORWAY of the tourque/snipe building so no big guys can get in... as soon as u get set up u can kill all the little guys who can kick the sheilds (including Kantas, seers, and grubs)... make sure u refresh the sheilds after every round if u run out of amo just keep getting torque/snipe ammo.

Either get a house ( The ones with dual entry looking across the courtyard ) or up in the top where the Mortar spawns

It's the only level I've been to 50 on..

Fuel Station.

Hide up top with flamethrower spawn. When there's one guy left go get more ammo/guns.

Day One by far --- can do it on insane there if you really wanted to

getting over run on security is extremely easy if they turn lasers off
