wut does rank actually go on i've heard numerous things but none seem to make sense..

anyone truly know?

im guessing win/loss ratio and k/d ratio, because sicne you can lose ranks its probably based on some sort of ratio

its based on a system kindof like chess.

the game predetermines which team will win based on overall ranks in the team

if team a has 5x rank 5's on their team

and team b has 5x rank 1's on their team

then by the standard, team a is supposed to win.

therefore when and if they do win they get points to their rank. but a minimal amout seeing as how they were supposed to win.

and team b will lose points to there rank, but not many seeing as how they were supposed to lose.

now say team b wins. they will gain substantial points to there rank and even might rank up 2 positions because they were supposed to lose, yet won.

and team a will lose massive amounts of points to their rank seeing as how they were supposed to win, yet lost.

Honestly this rank system is proly the worse case of shit ive ever heard of. I think they should just get rid of it and turn matchmaking back to gears 1 style where it was worth playing.

Yeah but you can lose your rank when the other team leaves if they're host, we were had won 4 matches in a row except the host left all 4 games (other team) and my friend lost his 4 bar. it's retarded don't even worry about your rank
