Isn't the shotgun, that's not bad.


The excessive use of the chainsaw is a pretty big problem, but I feel the matchmaking/ranking system is terrible. I'm sure there are discussions on this, but I see none, so yeah...

Like, there was really nothing wrong with the matchmaking system Gears 1 had, except there was no ranking system. If they would have just implemented that everything would have been okay, but now if you want to play a public game you always have to worry about it going against your record/stats and eventually ranking down.

Gears 2 just needs a "social slayer" type mode so that if you just want to hop on and shit on a few randoms before work or something you can.

ya but in gears 1 you couldnt invite friends to a game which was gay, and ranks dont really matter, i see a lot of shit top rankers... and the shotgun is gay sometimes for the fact you cant really no scope with it.

there should be a social slayer, use to love playing with a guest on gears 1.

They should also choose the best connection to host rather than just choosing a random host. Cod4 finds the best connection to host so it couldnt be that hard to do.

How can you not "no scope" with it. First of all, learn to aim. Secondly, blind shot is another way of shooting except a harder level of aiming and bullets are more scattered. There's no such thing as a "fact" that you cant blind shot.

go back to halo. gears is for the big boys

no scoping is ease with gears 2 shotty... And in most cases in gears 2 u dont get the opertunity to scoop with the shoty you halfta act fast and no were to shot. it isnt hard.

the words i used don't matter, the fact that i walk up to them and shoot them in the back and it doesnt one shot them is ridiculous, i still usually kill them with another but its gay not killing in 1 shot from right being them... its still a great game though

also, i guess i could "blind fire" but than i would usually have to beat down first which is just pussy.
