Everyone put your honest opinion yes or no and why..

I personaly think it's broken compared to gears1 shotty cuz enless you're host you can shove your nasher up a locusts ass on multiplayer and not one hit him...
also to the new shotgun has attianed snipper bullets you can now down someone from 15 feet away with the shot gun yet you can two peace them and not destroy them if you're not host sometimes.... it's kinda redunkules

yup pretty much sum'd it up pretty well. They fuked up the shotgun in the 2nd one, you cant even blindfire with it anymore... so sad.
ALso the shotgun and grenades are the only weapons that lag, while all others seem to fire bullets ontime.

I didnt think they could fuck up the 2nd one as bad as they did but the game is all about connection/ 2 pieces...
THe first gears is probably my favorite game of all time and the 2nd one i dont even really enjoy playing.

Unless they patch up some shit like they did with the first one, i probably wont play #2 for that long, probably get something else...

Well actually, I kind of like it.

I've gotten used to it and it works just fine.. although you are right about the shoving it the fuck up the locust ass and not one shotting them that pisses me off at times.

i've learned to use it better .. i'm not saying it's complete garbage but it does need work i think it's broken

It's not as bad as the lancer's chainsaw .. wich is due to mostly lag and the fact that when you start the chain saw animation it can't b stoped .. kinda lame.

in all honesty, i liked teh gears1 shotty better, it was more like a shotty... gears2 common you down some1 30feet away from you, how sad is that?

.....u are aware in real life u can kill someone with a shotgun from 30 feet away?.. every1 has played to much halo and thinks the shotgun is a point blank only weapon (irl).. i mean its not a sniper but u can hit some1 from more tehn 10 feet away.. jesus

i like gow 2 shotty better

at first i hated the gow 2 shotgun compared to gow 1, but now ive gotton so used to it. i can blindfire it just like in gow1 and still rape

whoever says its broken is admiting that they can't play..its SO overpowered..not compared to gow1 but it still is..if you zoom in and shoot you can easily down someone like 20 feet away in 2 shots~

Guess your kinda right, but the shell spreads so it is more cloose range, it cannot kill 30feet away.

you are very wrong about that

=/ its a close ragne weapon but as i said again.. every1 irl thinks its like halo and u can only kill some1 if ur 2 cms away..the pellets fired from just birdshot could actually travel up to 300-400+ yards (ofc it would prob barely break human skin at that range)... but u can kill or severely injure some1 from up to 40-50 yards away..
there is also a thing called a sabot slug which ive never shot 1 but they say they can be deadly up to 200-350 yards away =/

all those stats do vary ofc but talking about realisticism of video games i thnik the only game that is even close to portraying the shotgun accurately is rainbow six vegas 2
