Cliffy just doesn't care about the game being good competitively, he just wants it to appeal to casual gamers.

No, but neither would I want to be playing a completely different game. I don't know whether you played Gears 1 but the community was much stronger and it was a much more social game and had the "Pro" aspect to it. Both games have good aspects to them but Gears 2 is the same shit over and over. Downing with lancers or hard aim shottys with a small aspect of wall bouncing.



More tactical but much slower paced, Gears 1 was ultra fast paced and I would say it took more skill to use certain guns.

ie: Boomshot, Torque, Sniper




Rush to only get lancered down or hard aim shotty. Rushing won't work against a team of decent players.

Nonetheless if you were part of the original community of Gears 1 you can easily relate to all this, the game no longer pertains to the same audience. Hence why the majority of the original gears 1 players stopped playing,

ya da kid didnt even play gears 1 and he trying to tell us that gears 2 is a better game... its not gonna work kid, gears 2 is not a better game, never was, never will be, just no... actaully there are alot of people playing gears 1, really not hard to find games at all..

Lol, there aren't alot of people playing Gears 1, there are just enough for a few games all throughout the day, not nearly enough to say there are alot. If there were alot, I'd still be playing Gears 1 religiously. I play Gears 1 still just not like I used to.

both gears have gotten gotten kinda boring now tbh, and gears 2 just been pissing me off recently so ive just been playing gb's for mw2. and some orange box.

Not on at 1 time though. maybe in like 2weeks that many.

weekly gow has like 30k players i just checked -__- that includes warzone and execution i say 20k execution and 10k warzone but thats just ranked public games are still very popular

Hard to get through a ranked game without people quitting though.



Vouch this, I was bored shit less of both Gears before my xbox broke; Now I want to play both.



Both games have really nice aspects. Tbh, I grew to enjoy the tactical aspect of gears 2 but in my opinion Gears 1 was the better game.

That is purely opinion based, I can easily see how someone can see the second one a lot more.
