When a game gets shittier its pointless to adapt, based on user ratings Gears 1 > Gears 2, you cannot deny the fact that Gears 1 had a MUCH larger fan base and held a longer MLG status than Gears 2. Gears 1 is the better game by far and after the update hipfire is rarely used.



Gears 2 takes as much skill as Gears 1, its just overall a different game. Slower paced and more tactical versus the run and rape Gears 1 was.

True but same thing about gears 1 bullet lag online is way different than lan.. But gears 2 i noticed the lancer and most guns hit all the time. Not much compensation needed.

frag plants are the stupidest thing ive ever seen. they dont contribute to tactical gameplay, and they are so inconsistent.

and stopping power is for people who cant use the ar's, the gears 1 lancer was quite amazing. i just feel it slows down the gameplay to much, and doesn't encourage team shooting.

lulz at what? the word adapt in a video game is just retarded, especially when they basically changing the whole gameplay 5 times in 2 years

Thus proving how badly they changed the game. This game is completely different from the last, I am not saying its a bad game but to say its superior when it has such a small fan base and has lost pretty much all support for it its a bit far fetched.

Would you want be playing the same exact game though.
