Yes, I've played 5 teams using retros. Just because they use retros doesn't mean you can't win.

You can win in any scenario. But the retro hinders gameplay in my view. It turns the game into a "one weapon game". If the people you play are good it makes the game so slow and restricted and your done if your playing by yourself.

Not really. Smoke Grenades are good, and really if I have to explain it to you, one thing I'm going to say is it's accuracy is terrible long and medium range. I've used the Retro long-range with burst shots instead of spraying. It's not as ideal as you think. Don't put yourself in spots where you have to win by "getting the 1 shot" like the scrub above is saying.

@ The bad kid. I don't care if it matters "on the internet". Can you not read? I said I can tell you are trying, not whether it mattered to anyone else or not.

That's where it sucks long range. But you also have to realize long range isn't very good for any weapon that takes more than 1 shot to kill in gears because of health regen and cover. It's to dominant in it's range is what I'm saying (short range: gnasher DBS and retro).

I agree with 2 points in this thread...

1 Retro vs gnasher is a little unbalanced when it comes to being at a certain range

2 Retro is ezily countered.... in many ways

and i laugh at people srsly bitching about people using sawed-off. I like to switch guns i use between matches and have gotten two flame messages for using sawed-off in public fucking beta....
It really isnt that hard to stop a sawed off, u just need a small amount of common sense.
