The one thing I missed most about gears 1 was the wall bouncing. You can't do that at all in gears 2. Period. The characters are too fucking slow and you'll just get jewed by either the chainsaw or be two pieced immediately. Not to mention that the maps are just too open and aren't designed for wall bouncing in gears 2. The designers just want you to use the shield or use someone's downed body as a shield....
Smoke grenades. need I say more? They did fix them, but they are still bullshit.
The other thing that sucks about gears 2 is the massive of amounts of lag. SO MUCH LAG is in Gears 2 as compared to gears 1, and quite fankly it's frustrating.
